Alonzo Cook, Ph.D.
Dr. Cook is an expert in tissue engineering and was a scout at Johnson & Johnson for in-licensing, acquisition, and partnering. With 17 years of industry experience, he was a key leader in the research effort at Semprus, a medical device company that exited for $30M upfront and $80M in milestone payments.
Nicholas Anderson, MBA
Nic is a Health Economist and Medical Technology Analyst from Salt Lake City, Utah who works full-time as a Payer determining which medical technologies are paid for. He is also a consultant to Venture Capitalists and start-ups who are working on new life science products helping them identify what health insurance companies and hospitals want in a technology and for what they’re willing to pay. Nic is also a Strategic Advisor to a number of medical technology companies. He is a guest lecturer at UCSF School of Medicine, University of Utah and at various conferences and symposiums.
Jeremy Porter, MBA
Jeremy Porter is currently the Director of Business Development at Intermountain Health Care, where he raised $30MM as part of a co-op fund with Healthbox. Prior experience includes consulting with various small businesses and start-up companies, working as an executive for 3form, a materials technology company, among others. Jeremy earned a BS chemistry and an MBA from Stanford University.
